iamgirlscouts is now iamstrawjenberry!
This blog is five years old! Five years ago I transitioned from a Girl Scout leader to a Representative, to a National Delegate to a blogger and so much more. Last week, I was surprised but not shocked that I got an email from Etsy saying that GSUSA was requesting that I change my shop name. My shop is several years “younger” than my blog. Initially, when I chose my blog name I wanted it to signify that we are all Girl Scouts. I am. You are. She is.
And although I wasn’t asked to change my *blog* name, just my shop name, I understand it may be coming too. I’m a graphic designer by day (and night) so eventually I’ll offer more designs in my store than just Girl Scout products. So I’ve decided to embrace the change and extend it to the blog and Facebook page as well. The shop has already been renamed. I’ll be transitioning the Blog and Facebook over in the coming months.
Girl Scout Brownie Badge and Journey Certificates
And just in time for the new name is a new product! Thank you to Erin L. for suggesting the idea. If you guys tell me you want something, I’ll make it. I’m very happy to debut a full set of Brownie Badge earning certificates. These are available in my shop via instant download. You simply print a set out for each girl and give them a certificate for every badge they earn and journey level they complete! Includes ALL NEW badges and journeys.

Once printed you can customize the certificates with each girl’s name, date and troop leader. Each certificate features the Brownie elf. Feel free to contact me if you want the certificates personalized.
Thank you for your support today and always. Over the last few months I’ve received three donations from very special people who visited the blog. I am so thankful for donations, as they keep up the site and allow me to make and provide freebies.
Lastly, I’ve got some cookie goodness coming for you all. I’ve compiled and collected things over the past cookie season and I can’t wait to share them with everyone. I hope you had a wonderful cookie season. Now that it’s spring, I’m sure you’ll be planning lots of trips and campouts. Let me know if you need anything to help you lead this season and beyond.
xoxo

The trackers are a great tool to utilize. I’ve found them very handy and helpful! I’m new to Scouting and this has been a lifesaver. I can keep track of what badges I’ve given the girls.
I’d love a blank patch tracker! Lol We attend a lot of fun events that come with patches. It would be great to have a sheet where I could write in patch names, date earned and a spot to put when the patch was given to the girl.
I’m also excited to see the badge certificates. The girls will really enjoy receiving their badges on a certificate.
Thank you for all you do. I really love your trackers. I’m a new leader and having them makes life easier. These badge certificates are super cute. I’ll have to make my way to your Etsy shop.
Happy Independence Day!!
